WE ARE COMMITTED!
In the thick of it and committed to it
Only those who are in the thick of things know what it’s all about. Our aim is not only to find out where the financial markets are heading, but also to play an active role in shaping developments. That is why we are members of the following organizations:
The Association of German Treasurers (Der Verband Deutscher Treasurer e.V., or VDT e.V.) is the leading professional registered association (e.V.) for corporate treasury in German-speaking countries. It was founded in 1997 as a qualification and interest group and currently counts finance managers from almost 700 companies among its members. Members include leading industrial groups as well as large and medium-sized companies, all major banks, consulting firms, software providers and auditing firms. The association, in consequence, covers a representative cross-section of the German-speaking economy. In this composition, VDT e.V. bundles approximately two trillion euros in sales.
QuantFS has been a member of the VDT e.V. since 2015 and has been actively involved in shaping IT and securitization-related specialist topics since joining the association.
True Sale International GmbH (TSI) was founded in 2004 as an initiative of thirteen banks in Germany to promote the German securitization market. Today, TSI’s topics also cover broad areas of the asset-based finance market. The original aim was to enable banks in Germany to securitize their own loans under German law and on the basis of a standardized procedure agreed upon by all market participants, and to create a brand for German quality securitizations. This “GERMAN VERBRIEFUNGSSTANDARD” (“GERMAN SECURITIZATION STANDARD”), which is now well established, sets standards in terms of transparency, investor information, exclusion of originate to distribute structures (OTD) as well as loan origination and processing standards.
As an IT specialist for structured finance and securitization software, QuantFS is committed to this association to ensure that securitization remains a suitable instrument for direct and indirect SME financing.

SOCIAL COMMITMENT AS AN ESSENTIAL COMPONENT
Basic care, education and medicine
Some call it corporate social responsibility; for the QuantFS team, they are projects of the heart. We are grateful that things are going well for us and we consider social commitment to be an essential social component. In this respect, the topics of education, basic food supply and high-quality medical care are particularly important to us. We are, as a consequence, primarily involved financially, and the following projects count on us:
Hamburger Tafel - Providing food to people in need
The Hamburger Tafel supports the needful by providing donated food. Although the Tafel does not distribute the food itself, it does take charge of the collection of food donations, appropriate storage and distribution to social institutions.
Annemarie Dose-Stiftung - long-term security for Hamburger Tafel e.V.
The Annemarie Dose Foundation for the Hamburger Tafel was established at the beginning of 2002. The purpose of the foundation is to build up financial reserves for the long-term safeguarding of Hamburger Tafel e.V. as they are not allowed to deal with financial matters themselves due to their non-profit status.
University of Applied Sciences Wedel - Education through Interdisciplinary and Practical Studies, for over 70 years.
The state-recognized private university is located in the Hamburg metropolitan region and has stood for interdisciplinary, practical and international studies for over 70 years. It offers degree programs in computer science, engineering and economics. Each year, with help and support from the business community, up to 20 scholarships are awarded and financial assistance is provided to graduating candidates who are particularly in need of support.
Hadassah - High quality medical care for everyone
The German Friends of Hadassah Medical Relief Association e.V. is an aid organization that works to provide financial support to the Jerusalem Hospital “Hadassah Medical Center”. The aim of the Hadassah Medical Center is to provide the same high quality medical care to all people regardless of their origin and/or religion.
USING INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY WITH CARE
Acting sustainably, reducing the burden on the environment and cutting costs
The transformation of the working world is ushering in a new IT era. Responsible use of resources is increasingly defining the efficiency and success of corporate processes.
As an ABS, ESMA reporting and securitization software specialist, QuantFS also implements ESMA reporting for a large number of e-bike securitizations and four high-volume German Residential Solar Securitizations. QFS is thus further expanding its strategy in the reporting of sustainable projects and in sustainability reporting.
In addition, it is our corporate obligation to use information and communication technology carefully throughout the entire life cycle.
Always with the aim of reducing the resources used such as energy, raw materials and consumables during use, consistently recycling and avoiding emissions, pollutants and waste as far as possible through refurbishing.
SAVING RESOURCES AND AVOIDING EMISSIONS
We can do that!
The use of videoconferencing or cloud servers has become increasingly important in the environment of Green IT and is also increasingly used by us.
We thus avoid emissions by working flexibly in terms of location and time. And when it comes to going to the office or to the customer, our goal is to use means of transport that demonstrably save resources and avoid emissions.
A small daily contribution that is having more and more of an impact.
SCREEN OFF & THINK BEFORE PRINTING
Save On!
A dark monitor uses up to 20% less energy compared to a bright one.
Resource-saving and energy-efficient IT and printing concepts consume less power and resources.
Day after day, we motivate ourselves to use resources and hardware components in a sustainable way. This is good for the environment and efficiency.
SAVE AND AVOID CO2 EMISSIONS
Exploiting potential
We are aware that the use of digital technologies and the IT infrastructure they require directly or indirectly cause around four percent of global CO2 emissions.
By making our operations more and more resource-friendly and optimizing processes, we are doing our part to improve energy efficiency.
For example, by:
- Adapting the IT infrastructure to actual needs
- Purchasing or leasing energy-saving and durable IT equipment
- Using standby mode, energy-saving functions and exchangeable power strips
- Centralization of local device landscapes
- Optimizing data management with cloud hosting and centralization
- Improving cooling of servers and server rooms
- Automation of IT processes
- Operation of printers with environmentally friendly printing modes, low-paper office
- Use of communication technology such as video conferencing or e-learning
- Raising awareness and active involvement of employees
- Use of energy-saving means of transport
- Flexible working models in terms of time and location
